FRASER VALLEY WATER POLO ALUMNI
As our athletes "age out" of our club past 18 years old, they join a larger network of extremely successful Fraser Valley Water Polo Club alumni, who have gone on to win NCAA championships, OUA championships, play on national teams and even earn professional contracts in Europe. We aim to continue to recognize our outstanding alumni, who represent our club to the rest of the country and beyond.

UC Davis Commit for 2017
Emily trained with the Women's Team Canada WP to compete in New Zealand in the Winter of 2016. She then came back to finish a final year with Valley before heading to UC Davis for 2017. |  '98

Long Beach
Paige will be the second commit from Valley to play with team Beach at CSULB. She joins former teammate Virginia while she studies Kinesiology. |  Gurpreet Sohi

Gurpreet captained her Stanford University squad during the '16, her senior year. As a key offensive player for Stanford, Sohi has already captured the NCAA title twice during her time as a Cardinal. |

Canadian Senior Men's National Team
Matt holds the distinct honour of being Fraser Valley's first male athlete named to the Senior National Team. During Matt's time with Fraser Valley, he led the team to a number of medal finishes at club nationals, and represented Team Canada at the Youth Pan American Games. |  '93

Lille Metropole Water Polo
Vicky, after playing a number of years with Fraser Valley and the Canadian Junior Women's National Team, moved on to play in the NCAA with San Jose State. After graduation, Smith accepted an offer from a professional team in Lille, France, where she currently plays and resides. |  Eric Martel

Like her sister, Ginger's extremely successful water polo career began with Fraser Valley Water Polo Club, where she moved up from the development program, into one of Canada's top young junior players. Smith would follow in her sister's footsteps and play in the NCAA with California State - Long Beach. |  '96
University of Hawaii
Danika, the youngest of three Kotylak siblings, played with Fraser Valley Water Polo for six years before accepting a scholarship offer with the University of Hawaii. Danika's legacy at Valley will not be forgotten, as she helped her team capture the very first national medal for the FV girls program. |  '94

Alexa Tielmann first turned heads as a standout among a generation of frighteningly talented of Fraser Valley girls born in '94 and '95. Since then, her rise has been meteoric. Though she accepted an offer to play at UCLA, Tielmann has also been named to the Canadian Senior Women's National Team. |

One of Valley's leading scorers during the 2014/15 season, KD elected to bring her talents east following graduation, and play for the Varsity Blues in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) League. She helped the Blues capture the OUA title in her freshman season. |  '91

Part of a founding generation of athletes in Fraser Valley's history, Chris captained the first boys teams in club history to national championships. After graduation, Chris moved to California to play with Cal Baptist in the NCAA. |  '91
Pepperdine University
The eldest of the three Kotylaks, Julian played for Fraser Valley, where his play earned him a spot on the Canadian Junior Men's National Team. His international experience helped pave the way for him to play with Pepperdine University's varsity team. |

Oozing athleticism, Chris Toy combined speed and skill to make himself a dual sport threat. A successful FV athlete who played on the Canadian Junior Men's National Team, his speed swimming times earned him a dual-sport scholarship to California Baptist University upon graduation. |  '92

Captained Fraser Valley's first national championships winning teams in 2008 and 2010 before moving to Ottawa to play varsity water polo with Carleton University. There, Cole helped his squad earn two OUA championships before graduating and returning to coach Valley polo. |  '93
St. Francis College
Consistency was key during Nathan's time with Fraser Valley. His talents helped the club finish well at nationals for 4 straight seasons, earning two championships and four medals during the span. He would go on to play with St Francis College in New York. |
