30 hours per week; $22.60 per hour; 30 month contract
Location of work: 8889 Walnut Grove Drive, Langley, BC and 16555 Fraser Hwy, Surrey, BC

Plan, develop, and implement training and practice sessions for girls and boys water polo teams

Develop, plan, and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs
-
Motive and prepare athletes and teams for competitive schedules and programs
-
Formulate competitive strategies, develop game plans and directs athletes during games
-
Analyze and evaluate athletes’ and teams’ performances and modify training programs
-
Some travel required for competition and other events

Passion for water polo and helping athletes reach their potential

Experience in and technical knowledge of water polo
-
National Coaching Certificate Program (NCCP) Competitive Coach training or international equivalent, or willingness to obtain the NCCP Competitive Coach training within an agreed timeframe

Minimum 8 years of experience in high performance water polo coaching, 3 years of which must have been coach for senior boys or girls team that competes nationally or 3 years of which must have been as an assistant coach with a national team or professional program
