High Performance Water Polo with Fraser Valley...

Fraser Valley's high performance programs are geared towards experienced water polo athletes looking to compete on a national, and international level. Our high performance teams compete in the National Championship League (NCL), a Canada-wide league for the country's top water polo players.

Valley athletes have used our high performance program as a springboard to help them reach the NCAA, senior national team, and even obtain  contracts to play professionally in Europe. Our approach emphasizes a high level of fitness alongside game knowledge, with one on one feedback designed to help our athletes achieve their goals in the short-term, and long-term.

In-depth analysis using the latest in video technology, workout routines designed to help our athletes achieve national-level results, and mental training are just a few aspects of our approach which help our programs deliver consistent results.

Our high performance programs are demanding, time consuming and physicially exhausting - athletes must strive to balance their other athletic commitments, along with their studies and social lives. Good time management is a necessity in order to have success at this level of competition.

With past national championships won by Fraser Valley teams, and a bevy of medal-finishes at other club championships, Fraser Valley Water Polo Club has quickly emerged as one of Canada's top water polo clubs.

In addition to competing in the NCL, our teams often travel to a number of non- tournaments per season.

Our High Performance teams train out of either the Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex, the Walnut Grove Community Centre or the Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre
