Pacific North West Youth League

Abishek Tharmapala looks for a pass during the 2015 PNWYL season.

The Pacific North West Youth League is an international water polo league designed to give young athletes in B.C., Washington State, and Oregon a chance to play more water polo. The inaugural season for the PNWYL took place in the fall and winter of 2015, with three divisions represented in the league: U12 co-ed, U14 girls and U14 boys.

League play consists of three, mad-cap one-day weekend competitions (one in Victoria, British Columbia, one in Seattle, Washington, and one in Surrey, BC) where athletes play around 6-8 games throughout the day. With no year-end championships, the emphasis in this league is on gaining valuable game experience before our athletes move up to compete in the National Championship League at the U16 and U19 level.

Thank you...
