Valley Summer Program

June 4 - July 28, 2018

FVWP is preparing an exciting and challenging summer program!

This High Performance Program will focus on the development and improvement of individual skills and will ensure we start our 2018/19 season at the best possible level.

This year our program will comprise of pool and dryland activities including leg strengthening combined with tactical preparation and developing a deeper understanding the goals of the game.

We will be preparing athletes for the upcoming 2018/19 season. By continuing to play competitive water polo and focusing on increased fitness over the summer, participating athletes will have a “head start” when fall training begins.

Our practices and activities will be designed with the following goals in mind:

-    Improvement of personal/individual skills

-    Development and understanding of new skills and drills

-    Technical and tactical (individual and team) preparation

-    Leg strengthening

-    Separating athletes by groups and positions (position work)

Scrimmages with other clubs will be organized throughout the program and the goal is to attend at least one Tournament. We will attend more if we have the demand.

Participation Options:

•    Athletes who join for two weeks,

•    Athletes who join for four weeks,

•    Athletes who participate in the full-term program.

We are offering a degree of flexibility to ensure that athletes can maintain their condition but can also participate in other summer events such as JO’s, camp, family vacations, etc.
