WHO WE ARE.
✓ Fraser Valley Water Polo Club is committed to providing development opportunities and high performance competition for athletes 7-19 years of age. Our athletes represent 6 communities throughout the Fraser Valley
✓ Excellence is at the core of our club culture. Our athletes are supported, encouraged and coached towards National and International competition.
✓ Fraser Valley WPC offers our 80+ members the opportunity to participate in both Provincial and International leagues.
✓ We actively find opportunities for athletes to train and compete internationally. Whether it’s camps, international tournaments or Junior Olympics, we want our athletes to have every opportunity possible to realize and showcase their skills.
✓ Since day one, athlete development has been the highest priority for Fraser Valley coaches. Our alumni include Olympians, former, and current national team players (at the junior and senior levels) and a growing list of athletes recruited to play with NCAA Div 1 teams.
✓ Under the direction of world class coaches including Michel Roy and Georgiy Belyaev, our athletes receive the training necessary to build the skills to realize their full potential as individuals and as team members in the sport at its highest competitive levels.

We believe that lifelong success starts with sport. It is proven that children who have grown up playing team sports excel post secondary and make valuable contributions to the community.

We believe that the Water Polo athletes from Canada competing internationally, are some of the best in the world. It all starts at home. We must continuously improve and develop our club, grow and innovate in the sport.

We know that Covid has hit our sport hard, and we know that running a high- performance water polo club comes at great cost.

We know that our u19, u17 athletes pay in excess of $6000 annually for training, league fees, regional, national and international competition several times a year.

We know that to ensure our program remains accessible to all athletes, we rely on government grants and corporate sponsorship.
