Fraser Valley Water Polo Club is very proud to host Water Polo Canada's Senior Men's National Head Coach, Pat Oaten, who will be delivering a clinic to BC athletes with birth years 2009+.
Clinic Scope
An opportunity for BC Men and Women water polo athletes (birth years 2009+) to hear about steps needed to keep their eyes focused on the path to the national program by:
-
hearing more about Coach Pat's experiences in training (possibly identifying) top athletes
-
hearing about athlete challenges he's seen and what steps these athletes have taken to ensure they remain on the path to the national program
-
be exposed to another style of coaching that can supplement and validate the athlete's development

Men and Women water polo athletes with birth years 2009+ in the high performance path and have an eye to be on a National team.
